We have been trying to get out PTCL number 042-6371795 fixed for the last six weeks, but without any success!

    REMINDER to PTCL – Where is Meter Reading Column on Tel Bills.

    PTCL – Complaint for telephone average billing without METER READING. Why Meter reading column is omitted from tel bills? What is technical problem with PTCL for not providing meter reading to subscribers? Plz STOP Loot Mar.

    Your below reply is totally unsatisfactory. I asked about meter reading column in tele bill and not for no. of calls. What is the meter reading (present/Previous) to access the difference of calls.

    For the last one year I have been writing to PTCL official but there is unsatisfactory reply.

    Whatever u mentioned, it is all in the bills, but my question is where is present and previous meter reading column. Plz provide meter reading (present/Previous) details from January, 2009 to date. In the absence of meter reading column PTCL is charging on arbitrary basis, why???

    Dear Customer,
    It is to bring into your kind notice that PTCL never charge bills on average basis to its customers and further there is no call details for local call charges. (why?) Now the local call charges are Rs.1 per minute and the number of calls are mentioned on the bill. (Where is meter Reading column) Details for NWD calls NWD/Local mobile and ISD calls are always provided to the customers. (this all given on bill, but my question is – Where is meter reading column???) You are silent on this issue, Why???

    On behalf of PTCL, we thank you once again for your continued confidence in PTCL, and look forward to continue serving you. What type thank u by putting client in trouble. This is ur thank u. Provide meter reading details from Jan 29 to date.

    Dear Sir,

    I have been writing to PTCL on subject matter for the last one year, but till date no response has been received.

    PTCL is issuing telephone bills on average basis without meter reading and the subscriber do not know how much units he has used, but only a number of calls is shown in the bill, which is not justified.

    Who is responsible in the PTCL to whom complaint should be made for showing meter reading on telephone bills????? Kindly send me month-wise meter reading statement to know how much actual calls have been made by me.

    This is very severe matter and great protest to PTCL chairman and concerned responsible authorities. Who will reply and do the needful.

    An early action will be much appreciated.

    Dear sir/madam,
    I would like to you mention a problems which have been facing for one month which my home number 064-2471441 and my address is House no 1446 Block no 18 fareed abad colony Dera Ghazi Khan.i got this number last one month but i can’t receive the conection and thy also give me a DSL conection without my permition.this is to much please do somthing for me otherwise remove my nomber from your list. Ptcl line man are available they did’not help properly and do lamb excuses.please take an action on this issue.

    What a Performance of PTCL

    I had applied (online) for PTCL connection in July 2009 – this was really a blunder from me.
    No response received for 2-3 months.
    On my follow up, connection was refused due to technical problems. PTCL, instead, offered me Vfone connection (probably in October 2009) which I declined.
    Later, all of sudden, PTCL started sending me monthly bills (Nov 2009).
    On receipt of 1st bill, complaint was immediately lodged on 080080800, 1236 and 1218
    On receipt of 2nd bill, complaint was again registered on all numbers given on the bill and available on PTCL website. I also tried to contact the Divisional Engineer, Sr. Operation Engineer and RGM but all in vain.
    On receipt of 3rd bill, the complaint process was repeated and it was also lodged with PTA.
    After a week, a call was received from an Islamabad number (PTCL); assuring me that billing would be stopped immediately.
    However, the next month, bill (4th) was again received. The complaint was again registered.
    Then, as per matter of routine, the 5th monthly bill was received (without any connection). This time the bill was received with a threatening letter/ notice; what a criminal and condemnable act it was.
    In reply, I again emailed to PTCL & PTA condemning the irresponsible attitude and poor management of PTCL. I made it clear that I reserve all the rights in the world to defend myself by all means. I also declared that in case of any mishap, the PTCL management would be fully responsible.

    Soon, thereafter, Mr. Khalil Ahmed Dharpali (Business Manager Ops KIA Division STR-II Karachi), first contact me over my cell number and then visited my residence (on 17th April 2010) and assured me that all extra charges would be waived off and connection would be given immediately. On this commitment I allowed for connection, which was another blunder from me.
    The line was soon installed but without any service/ calling facility.
    I again started complaining
    Then, they again advised me to pay the bill first to have calling facility.
    Anyhow, the bill was paid. Meanwhile, the next monthly bill was received which was also paid

    But infuriately the telephone service is still unavailable on my number
    It is now a daily exercise for me to register a complain for restoring my number but all in vain
    Since November 2009, I am suffering from such a poor, miserable and regrettable behavior of PTCL
    PTA has also proved to be a helpless & useless institution having totally failed to take appropriate measures to regulate the PTCL and save customers from such big embarrassments and humiliations.

    plz sir.i have a connection since last 20 years.but 3 months ago the phone was dead .and i was complain many times.but there was no response me.
    and the bill was also comming.and i paid it.but no response was there.

    and i was go to the help line center and i m telling that leave the connection and get me a new connection.but they said to me that u have also a new connection requiring to our information.but i can’t have a new connection or niether old connection..
